The first thing I want to say to you is that our MV focuses on the topic of a person who is in a state of depression, meaning they have just been affected by a force like losing someone or being affected by something extremely extremely bad psychologically that makes them depressed and our MV tries to stand out and show that this is a topic that young people today are extremely interested in. We can take as an example that many of our friends and common relationships have and are experiencing symptoms of depression so we made this MV to express based on those aspects of depression as you can see through the eyes of the main character Peter the video has conveyed emotions and symbols that many viewers can relate to especially teenagers who are in romantic relationships but the focus of the story is Peter's unrequited love that is when Peter has lost everything depicted through flashback scenes the present and the isolation it yearns for sadness and memories interwoven through the scenes and the common experiences of youth especially those who are going through a painful first love as we can see Peter's journey takes place in a city life setting evoking the emotional turmoil that young people often feel when faced with a lost love this Pin is a MV that talks about depression on a constant mood level like a bomb shown in the MV as a main character Even though he has given up a lot of trouble waking up from painful dreams dreaming about the loss he has gone through with his lover but he still faces his industry normally can be normal and always happy with the people around him those emotions are not clearly shown on Peter's face but deep inside Peter it is a different matter it is like a slow-burning bomb as we can see in the MV the scenes of smoking and drinking drinking to say that is a disappointment for Peter when he almost lost everything along with the psychological pressure of daily life like being questioned by the boss
Our MV also shows that Peter uses things like nicotine smoking and alcohol to cover up and hide the losses of the past to make it pay back and suppress the things that he is very sad about but he doesn't know that those things don't go away but only make him more confused but he still satisfies his needs with the smoke making things gradually get worse throughout the video the themes are enhanced by the cinematography the close up shots of Peter's face give an insight into his emotional state while the panoramic aerial shots of the city capture his loneliness with life still going on around him it's as if he is stuck in the present whereas the settings seem to be filled with warm yellow light symbolizing the light and love that has filled his life when the girl is present this change in light is intended to highlight the difference between feeling happy and sad The plot also helps the audience understand the emotional burden that Peter faces.to say that our music video is to help people men people who are in love people in love relationships can have a deeper insight a broader view of what to prepare for hi But they are broken up when they lose the person they love they have to prepare themselves with an extremely strong mentality and be ready for any situation that may happen like you go on when our main character can not do that and makes him fall deeper into social evils we want to help people who watch our MV to understand that the things they are doing they will do like in the MV is completely wrong so try to avoid those things and try to help yourself always stay awake and always have to keep your spirit of steel no matter what happens should not Get into the path of evil.
The way our music video creates a sense of brand is through the use of lighting angles and setting along with the digipack we bring these elements together and make sure that they complement each other and at the same time satisfy the message which is about loss these complement the tone through minimalist designs and visual consistency it uses soft tones soft textures and elegant typography to maintain the emotional impact of the video just like on the digipack, then we used Peter playing the guitar as the representative of Digipack we saw that when Peter plays the guitar alone in a very lonely and reflective way these choices will ensure that the identity and brand remains intact Reinforcing the resonance and emotional side and loyalty of the audience not only that we use these edits will create an identity a unique and personal character for our MV you can see we always focus on Peter because he is the main character However when used in combination with our lighting techniques it creates a sense of transmission and isolation We want the audience to feel isolated from the context we know even though Peter is free even though he can do whatever he wants but he has nothing to do like he is moving for an unknown space interaction with the audience is the core strength so that our MV can help viewers be invited into Peter's story through through symbolism and shared emotions his pain and suffering acts as a mirror to those who have experienced similar loss making the video emotionally relatable the use of symbolism such as the isolated shot of Peter or his interactions with memories and space encourages open interpretation at the end where Peter and his friends have a beer and the camera pans to the sky acting as a hopeful metaphor even as Peter remains in grief it implies that time and life continue to move forward giving a message of resilience amidst grief even though the shot has been brought back down to him and shows him still grieving along with the next shots he looks back at past love letters he collapses in the middle of the rain and he feels so tired we need to know that it all has to be dealt with we can't keep it inside and keep thinking and being upset about it it only makes us worse and worse So our last shot when you see it is the shot of Peter turning his head like he has turned a new page he is no longer in the past and he will move to the future where he can find new things and no longer worry about what happened even though that person is gone even though that person is gone when he turns back that person is no longer on the other side of the train but everything still has to continue time will still go on along with him having to continue moving forward can't stay in one place and keep grieving about it
Our MV products engage with the audience by the audience interacting with media to meet specific psychological and emotional needs our video meets some of these needs for personal identity many viewers can see aspects of themselves in Peter's struggles whether in his grief Silent Pain or his loneliness the video also provides catharsis the honest portrayal of grief provides the audience with an emotional escape in terms of social interaction this story opens up a discussion viewers are encouraged to interpret the meaning behind Peter's actions whether in performance scenes or his symbolic gestures such as holding on to painful memories Falling to his knees as soon as he reads the letters and finally Revisiting the letters that have been burned Ultimately the escape is achieved through atmospheric cinematography and emotional storytelling that takes the audience into Peter's inner world.Just like that living like Mise-en-scene with the setup in our MV we can see that Peter is an extremely closed person with his mess arranged Chaos out saying that the sad emotions have affected him a lot making his normal life also be upside down the closed space shows piter's personality that he is still stuck in the past even when he is living in his own world But those images are all directed to the past the world or space around him does not give him safety and limits his functions like in the scene of playing the piano we can see like he is sitting in an extremely small and closed room to release his depression and sadness through songs and through the piano the mess can show that Peter's mentality is not stable we can see that a small room is like Peter's whole world When but he lives extremely messy piles of clothes are scattered all over the room without being cleaned up that makes the whole place he considered safe become unsafe making it a place he can't rely on that's why when the MV shows us that Peter has almost lost everything he can rely on now only himself is left. not only So the topic We are simply about the breakup and loss of a loved one, a situation that although painful, is experienced by many people out there, especially in Vietnam, we, the same generation and those who have lost, this is a fairly famous topic that has been sought after and referred to by many young Vietnamese people. This has been synchronized with Peter's emotions when the images, colors and sounds are all linked to his emotions through each film through each level of emotion, for example, in the rain scene, this scene was created entirely with real effects, Slow mo, and as for the rain, we used a camera, as for the rain, we had to make it artificial. The raindrops were run down from above, and with the combination of lights from behind, the outline of the raindrops stood out, highlighting Peter and making the rain visible. Not only that, standing in the dark rain is impossible to attract. viewers so we put some lights in front of him so he can show up with his sad face and with his wet letter not only that the other attractions in the MV are the performance scenes when Peter's friends are seen that they are all very happy with their own lives They show us that not everyone has sadness yes they have their sadness no they really but they will keep it in their hearts and will continue with their lives must always be happy with everything around them makes it a very unique attraction about even if you are someone who is depressed or is possessed by negative emotions the people around you will always stand up to help you and give you advice so you can keep going.
The production process was informed by detailed research into audience expectations market trends and music video genre conventions which was extremely consistent with industry standards for the emotional Ori and the Acoustic Ballad which combined visual symbolism that expressed emotion and high quality production techniques along with our analysis of other music videos helped us refine the visual identity while maintaining originality. Not only that, our decision to focus on the inner rather than the outer drama allowed us to portray grief in a more personal and nuanced way the fish tank shots representing the passing of time added a unique layer of metaphor. Audience research also revealed that nostalgia increases emotional impact which led to our decision to contrast the warmth of the past with the muted tones of the present and the narrative structure in a Non-linear format allowed us to emotionally engage and reflect the audience. Finally the music video Ours is not just a visual accompaniment to a song but a deeply immersive journey and love lost and the struggle to move on through the use of cinematography lighting acting and storytelling the iconic video captures the complexity of grief and the healing process Emotionally Not only that our brand is seamlessly extended through the dispec reinforcing emotional themes with a consistent visual identity the result is a project that is built for the audience on both a personal and artistic level we are backed by research and supported by creative vision along with us having to ask for opinions and refer to the forms that we give to viewers that helps us to always improve and refine our MV according to the emotions and desires of the viewers that will help our MV bring a deep and unforgettable experience through connecting the viewers' emotions to the characters in our MV and along with us being able to change, We know that our MV is not 100% perfect but that is enough to make our MV become an extremely special and unique part along with MVs of the same genre but has its own distinct identity.
